A critically-injured individual has been taken to the hospital after being involved in a coffeeshop shooting. The incident is reported to have taken place inside of the Green Place Coffeeshop on Kloveniersburgwal at 22:51 on Sunday, November 19. Green Place is located in the Nieuwmarkt area of Amsterdam, a central area filled with restaurants, shops, and bars, a popular tourist destination.

News of this incident was released in a statement by Dutch Police. Police report two suspects fled the scene in a car, heading towards Damstraat. They implore anyone with information to contact the emergency line.
