25 years after he was disqualified from the World Boxing Association Heavyweight Championship for biting his opponentโs ears, Mike Tysonโs cannabis firm has released ear-shaped marijuana edibles.
Tyson 2.0, Tysonโs cannabis company, unveiled a new product called Mike Bites, ear-shaped treats with a missing piece, as a nod to Mike Tysons fight against Evander Holyfield, which became known with โThe Bite Fight.โ
Mike Bites ears have a bite mark at the top of the ear, where Tyson chewed out a piece of Holyfieldโs cartilage during their 1997 WBA heavyweight title match
The new product was unveiled on Tuesday through a tweet from the company. โHoly Ears! Theyโre finally here!โ the post states.
Mike Tysons ear shaped THC infused gummies, Mike Bites, are now available at various dispensary locations.
In 2019, Holyfield and Tyson reunited on a podcast where Holyfield forgives Tyson for biting his ear in 1997. This is when the concept for these gummies was apparently first teased. As Mike Tyson put it to Holyfield, โyou might be in business because weโre going to make some holy ears.โ Further explanations of the holy ear follow, with Tyson going on to say, โedible ears that got a bit taken out of them. Holy ears.โ
