On May 31, 2021, the Best Friends coffeeshop chain began building a new brand new coffeeshop in Amsterdam’s Zuidoost neighborhood. On November 8, 2021, Coffeeshop Best Friends closed its Centrum location to make way for their new build, Coffeeshop Best Friends Zuidoost, located South East of the city. This take-away location was created to help supply South East regions of Amsterdam such as Biljmer & Diemen, which only had 1 coffeeshop, Roots.
