• Community Action: You’ll spot them in Queens and Manhattan, rallying volunteers for community cleanups to clear cannabis packaging from sidewalks.
  
• Creative Upcycling: They target the “un-recyclables,” transforming discarded waste into functional, upcycled promotional items and custom merchandise.
  
• Education: They’re training budtenders and consumers so everyone knows how to properly dispose of their packaging.

To maximize their impact, WeedCyclers partners with major culture-shapers, regulatory arms, and industry mainstages:

• Sanitation Foundation: As the official nonprofit arm of the NYC Department of Sanitation, they equip WeedCyclers with professional tools like litter pickers to back grassroots street initiatives.
• Flower Mill: Together, they hosted a successful “grinder exchange,” upgrading old gear for consumers while properly recycling the scrap metal.
• Revelry Fest: Partnering with New York cannabis expo, Revelry, ensures sustainability remains a front-and-center topic for licensees, brands, and operators.
• Solventless Cup: Collaborating with events like the Solventless Cup embeds zero-waste practices directly into elite concentrate and flower competitions, allowing processors, cultivators, judges, and attendees to recycle the packaging waste generated from the event.

Bringing Sustainability to Local Dispensaries

WeedCyclers knows that real change happens in the places where we shop. That’s why they’re teaming up with regional dispensaries, helping to turn these shops into sustainability hubs.

These partnerships allow dispensaries to host collection bins, participate in neighborhood cleanups, and provide their customers with the tools they need to be responsible consumers. It’s a win-win-win: dispensaries reduce their environmental impact, consumers get a convenient way to recycle their packaging, and we all get a cleaner city!

We’re beyond excited to share that we’re working with WeedCyclers to bring their recycling and waste programs to Western New York. The expansion into the WNY cannabis scene aims to establish:
